The Far End of the BenchCan we not get 5-10 minutes of point guard work from Dunleavy or Wilfong when needed? I have no idea.
Given the fact that we all know what the Achilles heel on this team is...I've seen no discussion of these guys here. Help me out here folks. What, if any, roll could either play? Party at The Wopper!
Re: The Far End of the BenchThe most important thing they can do is probably join the Keith Frazier towel waving club. I don't want them to have any more contribution than that.
Seriously recommending Dunleavy or Wilfong to get 10 minutes?
Re: The Far End of the Bench
Come on, this isn't serious, is it? There is no reason to discuss it is an option because its not even remotely a consideration. Manuel can handle the PG duty fine when needed in a pinch, its not ideal, but he will be fine and I think people are overlooking that.
Re: The Far End of the BenchGuessing the original poster did not catch any of the times either of those two played last year. Not great success.
Re: The Far End of the Bench
...but per 40 min., Wilfong would average 21 pts a game. ![]() http://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/sch ... /2014.html "smupony94: Harry, you have been promoted to purveyor of official status capabilities."
Re: The Far End of the BenchDuring times when those guys got in, it was a disaster. No lead was big enough. Not the answer.
Re: The Far End of the Bench
I only remember one game where the lack of a true back up PG cost us a game or was disasterous, Louisville. I believe Sterling is very capable. SMU-12 NCAA appearances, 1 Final Four

Re: The Far End of the Bench
He was talking about the walkons the original poster suggested could play 10 minutes a game, not anyone who appeared in a game that was in doubt.
Re: The Far End of the BenchMy bad.

Re: The Far End of the BenchSuggesting ideas on a message board like PF is equivalent to people who take their legal problems to their congressman instead of an attorney.
Re: The Far End of the BenchActually more like taking your legal problems to your plumber.
All those who believe in psycho kinesis, raise my hand
Re: The Far End of the Benchwait...is that a bad idea?
Re: The Far End of the Bench
Yes. My plumber charges more than my attorney. All those who believe in psycho kinesis, raise my hand
Re: The Far End of the BenchSounds like either way you'll get the business end of the toilet.
