He was having a pretty good year. Hope he heals up and continues to have success. Amazing what can happen when you have good coaching

I liked Cassell. The guy was a football player, if not a D-I QB. Best of luck to him.

I saw Conner Preston on the Blvd late this year for a SMU game, and spoke to him for awhile. He said it was unlikely he will come back for his last year, but he would like to coach. He liked playing for Mumme. In fact, he lived with Mumme, they split an apartment. Mumme's wife is still in Abilene.

It probably wouldn't be bad to have a few spots on the roster after NSD passes. We've picked up some of our better recruits in the last couple years by being the only school with a scholarship to give

true but we still have a pretty impressive list of quality recruits still on the board that just might fill the class up by signing date. Almost seems as our recruiting efforts are gaining steam as we approach the finish line
