Even aside from the fact you don't know where SMU will go, there are two big reasons: (1) it is important for SMU to sell out its allotment, and it will be a lot more fun for you to be in the SMU section; and (2) even if SMU does sell out its allotment and you do not make the cut, after-market tickets will still be available. I've gotten them a few days in advance to Duke first- and second-round games in Greensboro.
Oh, and Harry is absolutely correct: you can't rule out anywhere.
Fully realizing that Duke tickets are likely in higher demand and a little pricier than ours will be... What have you seen first weekend tickets going for, after market, in the past? Any other good ticket-buying strategies? Do you have to buy multiple/all days at once? Can you buy the thurs/fri ticket by itself and then try to scalp sat/sun onsite once other folks have been eliminated? Any insight is greatly appreciated.
