That's nuts.

Dude, you and your family are royalty around here as far as I'm concerned, and I'd buy rooms for all of you if it wasn't an NCAA violation (I don't know if it is, but I ain't getting anywhere near that line with those jokers). :-)

I wouldn't buy for anyone, unless I know for sure they've bought something for me.

Dukie wrote:Having followed Duke to several first-round sites: NO, DO NOT DO THIS. Even aside from the fact you don't know where SMU will go, there are two big reasons: (1) it is important for SMU to sell out its allotment, and it will be a lot more fun for you to be in the SMU section; and (2) even if SMU does sell out its allotment and you do not make the cut, after-market tickets will still be available. I've gotten them a few days in advance to Duke first- and second-round games in Greensboro.

Oh, and Harry is absolutely correct: you can't rule out anywhere.

Fully realizing that Duke tickets are likely in higher demand and a little pricier than ours will be... What have you seen first weekend tickets going for, after market, in the past? Any other good ticket-buying strategies? Do you have to buy multiple/all days at once? Can you buy the thurs/fri ticket by itself and then try to scalp sat/sun onsite once other folks have been eliminated? Any insight is greatly appreciated.
