nothing on this board could be considered credible evidence for an ncaa investigation.... and contrary to popular belief the ncaa compliance officers are not on PonyFans

actually, it was Nic. He's boys w/the Plumlees and I heard their agent contacted his go between

So let's not publicly suggest an important player from smu might be in contact with an agent (even if it is through an intermediary). This isn't Kentucky, ncaa probsbly won't let things like that slide at smu.

Maybe they were "whispering in his ears" like all those Big 10 Coaches that were trying to get him transfer. Let's not even forget the Smu "had some one sit for Frazier" rumor. Btw I've actually represented athletes before the College Boards-they would have thrown that score out immediately and SMU would have to have immediately suspend\ Keith Frazier and request reinstatement before the NCAA. Why did Keith Frazier keep playing well after SMU has admitted they met with NCAA. This [deleted]' crap has got to stop

Is Nic even scheduled to graduate this semester?

Maybe lower than that? But certainly not in the top 5 of the conference. From what I've seen of Duke, UNC, Maryland, ND, and Louisville, they would have handled us easily this season....

Just wanted to point out that Maryland is no longer in the ACC

Oh, good God. You're totally right. Still hard for me to wrap my brain around Maryland in the BIG.

Please read "UVA" in place of Maryland.

I didn't say SMU had anyone sit for Frazier, I said a coach asked me IF SMU had had someone sit for him yet. I said I'm sure they will or something to that extent. It was a reference to how all of this was basically common knowledge in the industry at the time of Fraziers recruitment. Something was going to be done and it was, that's all.

Ask anyone around Moore if what I say is false.

Boy did Maryland benefit from the move to the Big 10. It's one move that ended up making sense.

Hoopmanx clearly insinuates based upon apparently "common knowledge in the industry" that SMU had someone sit for Keith Frazier-that was before he insinuated that SMU fixed Keith's grades:

HOOPMANX: "Before he qualified, I was asked by one of our old RCs 'why we hadn't sat anyone' for him yet. I responded that 'its coming' and it was."

HOOPMANX: "Admission has bent over backwards for Brown and we can't keep anyone eligible. We've been under investigation since about a year into his tenure for grade fixing"

So which third hand rumor did you hear? "Common knowledge in the Industry" is the equivalent of [deleted]. His own words show he doesn't know jack

Or you could PM and find out what I actually know.

You are getting caught up in casual conversation semantics. 'and they did' just meant we got him qualified, at all costs. It wasn't meant as a definitive statement that we sat someone for his SATs or ACTs, just that we'd do something. My bad for getting caught in Mr Brady's 'letter of the law' nonsense. In effect, it doesn't matter if they sat someone for him or coerced a grade change, cause this entire thing was about keeping this relegated to DISD and avoid them tracing it to continued academic fraud at SMU. Lots was done to prevent that, which you don't want me ranting about on here. You aren't in the loop and you never will be b/c you don't have any knowledge to offer up that can't be googled. Stats and hubris is a pathetic way to spend a life

Have you ever considered the fact that Stallion is closer to the program than your friends are? Those same friends in which you so unabatedly rely on to spew your hearsay? Would help to know who your friends are so the rest of us can make an educated decision on who is more reliable. Just a thought. Stallion has proven his work here, to my knowledge, your friends have not.

I personally think posters SHOULD be called out for posting opinion as fact and I'm glad Stallion did just that.
