I wonder if they are going to try to beat us worse than Baylor so they can stay in front of Baylor in the rankings.

"covering" is "winning" this year. I'm with mrydel - I'd like to see us score 21+ points. We know our defense will give up quite a bit more. But hopefully under 60. :-)

(that really hurt to type BTW).

49-17 would be nice and should shrug "meh, alright" worthy. Hell, anything better than 56-0 will be an improvement

I don't see us scoring much at all. Baylor's defense had the disadvantage at the get-go of seeing the Morris offense at SMU for the very first time, with several players (Sutton, etc.) that they hadn't seen before. Once they got through the first few possessions and made adjustments, they shut our offense down.

GP, on the other hand, has two games worth of tape on us. He won't be surprised by anything.

We have tape on ourselves now, too, which should help a lot. QBMD is on a steep upcurve.

Baylor also gave up 31 to Lamar, so maybe their defense really isn't very good....

I don't see why SMU can't score on TCU. Seriously, TCU doesn't have hardly any healthy starters on defense returning from 2014. I think there are only 1 or 2 returning healthy starter remaining from last year. That's a brand new defense out there
