They did all they could do to not score and worked to run out the clock.

I have two issues.
Offensive pass interference on the pass for TD. REALLY a no call with the ref right there.

And two, On our fourth down play the d-back turned out guy sideways and could not catch the pass..... Well... no call again.

We are getting better.

If I was GP, I would have taken a knee. I don't think the 56 vs. 49 points are optically that much better. He has a lot of injuries right now. He could have ended the game with almost zero further contact for his players. That has to start being a consideration for him.

If you were GP, TCU would have been 50 points behind.

That's because TCU's DBs were interfering with SMU receiver every deep ball and SMU's DBs were running 5 yards behind TCU's receivers. When we get some DBs that can close up the 5 yard gap then penalties may even out

Whether TCU should have scored or not at the end I'm sure it will be remembered and make the win next year that much more fulfilling!

As for the missed calls, it looked to me like the officials let TCU play a rough game. I thought there could have been an offensive interference call or two also. It seems that TCU always plays out on the ledge and tests the officials throughout the game. I think that is just part of their game.

Did you notice that the officials, who "let TCU play a rough game" penalized TCU 115 yards, and SMU only 39?? Maybe you didn't notice that.

Disagree. I am not mad or upset, but look at it this way. If the game was within one score, no way do you run the ball. You take a knee to insure there is not a freakish fumble and return for a TD, like happened to SMU a few years ago when we had our first shutout in umpteen years spoiled when we tried to run one in late and the FCS team we were playing did just that.

Didn't have an issue with it...stop them. Rankings and point difference count...just hope we have that problem soon as well.

TCU may have wanted to keep up with Baylor in points scored for the CFP. Baylor scored 56 and TCU scored 56. Who knows. But it is not like we were down 40 points and they scored. Some need to stop acting rich entitled brats about this.
