It was Center Mike Smith in about 1974-he got a TRO issued in order to determine whether he would be likely to win on the merits but eventually lost after a preliminary hearing and was ruled ineligible. I think the NCAA later changed its rules to state that even if an individual appealed the school would commit an NCAA violation if they played such a player. I would like to see this, think it would be at least partly successful. We are not cherubs here...mistakes were made and must be accounted for. Just has to be fair and reasonable.
