Just got home from the game. That was a big win for us, especially after the two red cards. It was a pretty snippy game all around. The Cinci fans around me thought for sure that they would win after the second red, so the goal really hit them hard. It is always nice to leave the uc campus with a win. Next up Volleyball in a few weeks.

I just went back and watched them. Cuello's second yellow was just ridiculous.

Meinecke had a hard foul on Cincinnati, which the ref called. The players got up and had words and Meinecke kind of shoved him. It probably should have been yellow, but it was just after the other red so I imagine the ref was a bit card happy.

I think that the game was getting a bit out of hand at that point and the ref was trying to regain control by doing the red.

Cichero scored the game-winning goal for No. 21/20 SMU in a 1-0 (2OT) victory over Cincinnati Saturday evening at Gettler Stadium. The sophomore netted the game-winner in the 107th minute to give the Mustangs the win and help keep them atop the American standings. Cichero has a league-leading five goals in conference play.
