Re: 4 bids not bad
Just saw sportscaster on ESPN say Tulsa got in by beating "a very good SMU team"! Long live Inez Perez!
Re: 4 bids not badSMU beat Tulsa, UConn, Cincy, Michigan, Yale, Gonzaga, Hampton.
Re: 4 bids not badSMU definitely carried its weight in the conference this season even with an abysmal football season.
Re: 4 bids not badAt one point some on the board thought that the AAC would only be a 1 or 2 bid conference. Getting 4 teams in is really good for the conference.

Re: 4 bids not badPretty crazy that we would have had 5 if not for our ban.
If the bottom of the conference can stop being just pathetically awful, then this will continue to be a very good league that could routinely get 5 teams in, until it gets raided BOP - Providing insensitivity training for a politically correct world since 1989.
Re: 4 bids not bad
You forgot Colorado
Re: 4 bids not bad
I don't think so. If you count the play-in, AAC would have received 4 either way: http://www.cbssports.com/collegebasketball/eye-on-college-basketball/25515927/ncaa-bracket-tournament-committees-official-1-68-seed-list Pony up!
