IΓÇÖll always appreciate June for what he did at and for SMU. YouΓÇÖre right, he did what no other coaches could between ΓÇÿ89-ΓÇÿ07. Proved again you could win at SMU, leading to future coaches and more players finding it to once again be an attractive football school.

And we were able to build upon that, with Coach Morris and now Coach Dykes, and now now weΓÇÖre numerous levels above.

my memory is he lost to the cupcake team UNT and than quit on the team.

Not only lost but got blown out and humiliated at UNT so I think he knew he was done at that point so he quit and our guys went on to one of the worst seasons in SMU football history
