IΓÇÖm not sure what Sonny will do but the very existence of a thread with this title is harmful to SMU and is something IΓÇÖd expect of a troll.

I am available for your apology.

This thread was premature and something that I would have doneΓÇöat the time you did itΓÇöif I was trying to harm SMU. I guess you can remain available? Cheers and I hope you had a great Thanksgiving!

I still don't agree with one of our super fans sharing this information on a public SMU fan forum before one of our biggest games of the season, but given how everything has unfolded I take back my comment. I agree with Dukie that the thread was premature but you were proven right. Sorry for questioning your loyalty. The whole situation stinks!

All is good friend, just having a little fun. This has been done for weeks now. I almost did this thread a week or two ago

Thanks for the link. IΓÇÖm sorry that itΓÇÖs all true.

Has a head coach anywhere at the FBS level ever left that school to directly join the biggest rival? Even including MBB, any example I can think of involves something in between (Saban, Pitino). Roy dumping Kansas for UNC was huge, but (1) not primary rival and (2) his alma mater.

Embody calls this move exceedingly rare. I think itΓÇÖs actually unprecedented.

His ethics definitely are laid on the table, he has known for a month he was taking this job. Coinciding with our losing 3 of the last 4 games.

If they donΓÇÖt get Lashlee then Garrett Riley would not have been a bad choice IMO. Former Oregon Coach Mark Helfrich would not be a bad choice to interview as well.
