DP generally doesn't jump to a lot of conclusions. He certainly is more credible than a lot of folks out there talking about this stuff.Topper wrote:Today Dan Patrick, the sports guy not the Lieutenant Governor, says SDSU and SMU will be invited to PAC per SDSU source after discussion with source this past weekend. Source says Boise and UNLV have slim chance of being 13 and 14 citing low academic ranking and lack of commitment to other sports. PAC presidents like SMU academics and having a presence in Texas. No mention of worry about media deal.

For what it's worth, as of 9:30 PM (central time), the entire staff, including Fitzgerald, are still listed on the Northwestern website.

You can call me a cynic if you must, I have endured enough losing to last a lifetime. But you won't find a more loyal SMU fan anywhere and it hurts my soul to be called a troll.Dukie wrote:I don’t think you *are* a troll, but goodness you do a convincing impression a lot of the time.SMUstang wrote:Charleston Pony is right. Re: Realignment Update
IF the PAC-12 has a media deal before July 21st, how should they announce it?

Re: Realignment Update
What choices do the coaches and university have? Coaches won't find many open slots at other schools this close to the beginning of practice. The university doesn't want to try and assemble a coaching staff this late.Pony4Life wrote:I'll be damned. Assistant coaches are staying.Pony4Life wrote:Surely the whole staff goes too, right?
