I think scared is more like it. Waco, Ft. Worth, Ames, Stillwater, anywhere in Kansas, Ames are not desirable locations to either visit or attend school. Give me Dallas, Raleigh, Tallahassee, Miami, Northeast etc. any day! I cannot wait to see how this impacts (+) our recruiting and devastates our former SWC mates. They have to be scared to death that the sleeping giant is now wide awake!

Tech, tcu and baylor truly proved to us the superiority of big # conference football by losing to massive underdogs the opening game of the season! As their posters have been saying, we don't belong in a conference with them. At least they got that right.

It's funny because it will get under the skin of the Big 12 teams. Also, basically true, since unlike the ACC, SEC, and B10 of 2024, the Big 12 will have had 0 football championships in the last decade or even the BCS/CFP era, and only 3 championships since the inception of college football (TCU - 1938; BYU - 1984; Colorado - 1990) compared to dozens for each of the ACC, SEC, and B10.

I have a friend who went to Baylor who said he goes to some board that has people calling for Aranda to get canned after one game, too.
