This is hilarious...SMU mentioned near the middle of the page as Jebediah Springfield.

another blogger that matches college football teams w/ rap artists...
SMU = MC Hammer
Parlayed a surprising run of success into an enormous facility they couldn't possibly continue to fill. Suffered so-called "death penalties" when the money finally ran out. Now mostly known for their religious wheelings and dealings.

Hah!
The aTm one made me laugh outloud, as Homer would say ........"It's funny because its true"...
Texas A&M: Disco Stu
Once upon a time, both Stu and TAMU were forces to be reckoned with. Now they are sad shells of their former selves, regarded mostly with head-shaking derision.

I re-read the SMU entry and came across the word cromulence. I've never heard that particular word before so I looked it up. I'm guessing he was going for cromulent, since that is how I originally read it and it’s the only word remotely close to what he was intending. Doesn't really have any bearing on the overall entry which is spot on, I just don't like people who make up words

Cromulent is from the Simpson's episode where they learn all about Jebediah Springfield.

Looks like somebody got the Simpsons box set for his birthday.
I got the "emibiggened" reference, but I'm not familiar with cromulence (cromulent, which you said is from the Simpsons is a real word meaning average or fine, cromulence is the made up word).

Same episode, I'm pretty sure.
Also, a little more backup information:
