Well as most of you have heard by now, the NFL Europe has folded. What a tragedy. Anyways, since that's gone, will Mark Cuban still pursue that pro football league he was thinking of creating? Looks like a good opportunity as if he plays this right, could turn it into a winner.
He should make an 8 team league and try to place the teams in small market cities that will pack the place every week. Cities like LA (don't have a pro team, although USC is pretty much one), San Antonio, Oklahoma City, Birmingham, Milwaukee, Las Vegas, Sacramento, Syracuse, Hartford, Mexico City, anywhere in S. Carolina, Lexington/Louisville, Salt Lake City, Portland, and Richmond are all possible candidates. If you start a league, you want to avoid cities with pro teams as they will just be over shadowed by the pro team. I would love to see a league develop, maybe not for developmental purposes but as a compliment to the NFL. Thoughts?
