All Access question

Postby EmeraldCityPony » Mon Jul 23, 2007 9:11 am

Are the games archived as soon as they are complete? And is it possible to start playing an archived game without seeing what the result is?

For me, most of the games start around 2am so I want to wake up in the morning and watch the "tape delay" without knowing what the final score is.

Has anyone successfully done this when they couldn't watch the game live?

I figure that between watching UW and SMU games, this is going to be a sleepless fall for me.

Your best bet is to email Brad Sutton who heads up Media Relations. You can reach him at [email protected] . Brad has helped me on numerous occasions concerning All Access and I am sure he can either answer your question or find out for you. He reads this sight and may respond before you ever contact him.

Of course you could just zip over from Denmark, watch the game live and zip back.

you know, I don't know the answer to that... I am pretty darn sure that you will always see the score, as I think they show the results next to the schedule (where you click on the games)... I wonder if it would be possible for you to open up the game before you go to bed, and then refresh when you wake up in the morning ... that could cause headaches of course. And thenh I don't recall whether they show the score on that page or not. But the refreshing might be a problem, as the game will have been moved to "archive"... hrm.

Maybe you could have a neighbor come by every Sunday and open the links for you. ;) Actually, that's not a half bad idea... get a friend/family member who you don't mind asking a large favor of, and give them your login info. for SMU and U-Dub... and ask them that they simply send you the links every Sunday (or Tues./Mon. on SMU's 2 non-Saturday games). That's probably the only way to go about it.... and just hope that no one emails you with a subject like "Did you see that game?!? Poines WIN!" or the like.

Usually it's within the next day or so. Atleast that's how it was last year.

Okay, it's going to be complicated, but that's what I expected. Thanks!
