I was thinking it was the 6th day because apparently the Geese, known as S. Miss, laid an egg tonight.
Boo. No gifts for us.

Rice started last year 0-4 before finishing 7-5, right? Maybe there's some hope for us. That Rice OL looked pretty good last night. Really made some lanes for the RBs. Please refill my cup o' kool-aid. Shaken, not stirred.

Nobody thought Tulsa was going to lose again before they played us last year, either. Don't scramble your eggs before they are laid. Or somesuch.

It was a very exciting game. Most the fans left early and it appeared that many returned as the game got close. Double disappointment.

USM must have an 'in-and-out' policy.

Every school should have an in-and-out policy. Particularly those that require a bottle of whiskey to make it through the 2nd half. cough cough.

The end of the game tells you exactly what PB said. The conference is wide open?

CSA is like the WAC of the early 90s

I agree and disagree. I think C-USA is very inconsistent. ECU nearly beat VT, UCF should have beaten UT, UH nearly beat ECU, UH stayed with Oregon for most of the game, etc.

Apparently the WAC seceded because they felt their rights were being encroached upon and they were invaded by the Union (the BCS?) and beat back down into their place.

Igt was the MWC seceded from the WAC, and that resulted in SMU moving to the CUSA.

The BCS is like the Union and the Mid Majors are in the reconstruction period. The reconstruction was ugly for everyone. Kind of a stretch analogy, but us southern folk are still bitter about the reconstruction,
