Does anybody know the salary levels of CUSA head FB coachesWith all this talk about spending $1MM to get a quality coach, does anybody know the salary level of CUSA coaches?

$419,000 is the C-USA average. Don't know the breakdown though. This article has a lot of information on other conferences too ![]()
The problem with that is all the coaching changes that happened since last year. Kragthorpe is at Louisville, Graham is at Tulsa, Rice has Bailiff, UAB fired Watson (I don't remember who they have now).
you're right. even with the changes, it's probably a little closer to $500,000. which is still low, in my opinion

This is a year or two old but here you go:
http://www.usatoday.com/sports/graphics ... /flash.htm I believe Art Briles makes around $900K now. Random trivia: PB and Art Briles share the same birthday...12/3/55
According to Coacheshotseat.com (take it with a grain of salt) the salaries for C-USA coaches are:
Todd Graham (Tulsa) - $1.1 M George O'Leary (UCF) - $1.035 M Tommy West (Memphis) - $925K Bob Toledo (Tulane) - $600K Art Briles (UH) - $550K Mike Price (UTEP) - $543K Phil Bennett (SMU) - $495,602 Skip Holtz (ECU) - $425K David Bailiff (Rice) - $400K Jeff Bower (USM) - $349,983 Mark Snyder (Marshall) - $390,603 Neil Callaway (UAB) - $300K Average is $592,849.
Remember, these are base salaries. This does not include a bonus or two they get every year. A lot of teams build in a bonus and use it as a type of salary. It's all about accounting and how they get it by the administration.
Sounds like my company. ![]() GO MUSTANGS!
FIGHT ON!
