the ball that was dropped (and formed the basis for PPP's initial comment) was thrown to Blake Warren and would have kept a drive going. Announcers made it sound like a case of a guy trying to do too much. Instead of securing the ball and making the 1st down, warren was tryng to make something special happen and got caught looking downfield before making the catch. Can only hope he learns from it. At 0-8, everyone is pressing and just compounding the problem.
