Correction: they may have switched planes if they knew a giant purple dancing hippo and a guy with a cannon were snooping around private terminals and hangars at Love Field.

Rather expensive. And I don't think they would spend $5000 an hour to trick everybody. I just don't.

Exactly. It costs too much per hour to operate these things. I have entered N844GF in every tracking program I know, and they all say it's still in MIA. I tried to get a buddy of mine who is based in MIA to look over on the general aviation ramp to see if he can spot it, but he is off for a few days.

The other option we can go to is track flights into Addison and Love. It does not have to be specific.

i may be delusional, but i swear i just saw GJF's tail descending to LOVE. Either that or the G4 has a common stripe on the tail... this was just now as i was walking the dog and i live right under the flight path.

Do not take this as even me thinking it as fact...

Well, if it said N844GF on the engine, it was his plane. If not, then no.

The owner of that plane is Netjets Aviation, Inc. "Execjet" (Columbus, OH).

More to follow, well....if I find anything.

This just in: NetJets is a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, which offers fractional ownership and rental of private jets.

Just wondering, did anyone ever verify the smaller plane rumor? Do we have a tail number on that one?

You should be watching the GT airplane, too.

Whoever files the flight plan to BWI gets the prize.

Maybe someone ought to pose that question over at BearScoop.com. I found that Baylor University owns three planes.
