They [Arkansas] reconvene in Dallas by the night of Dec. 26 and on Dec. 27 start practicing at SMU's facility before their Cotton Bowl walkthrough on Dec. 31.

I'm sure that we got payment. I don't believe that this is the first time it has happened. I know the A&M band used our fields when they were in the Cotton Bowl several years back.
"He was quoting the Bible, Revelations. 'Behold the pale horse.' The man who 'sat on him was Death... and Hell followed with him.'"

"You tell 'em I'm coming... and hell's coming with me!"

Lots of teams have used SMU's facilities before Cotton Bowl games. I remember specifically Colorado doing it. I believe that Kansas State and Texas did also. It has been done almost every year. And I'm sure that we receive something for it.

SMU is always the practice facility for one of the Cotton Bowl participants. The other team uses Texas Stadium.

Bennett and his staff used to watch the Cotton bowl teams practice at SMU and laugh at the fact they actually had a special teams coach.

and Alabama when they played Tech. I think they painted a checkerboard endzone in SMU's practice field when Tenn practiced there, as well.
