Baseball would be wonderful. I know his grandmother would be ecstatic (sp). At least then could I keep my son from wanting to pick Stanford over us.
BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!

For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.

Just because he said that the Emperor had no clothes (our football program was pathetic) does not mean that he does not support the program. He was just telling it like he saw it, and he was right. I am sure that one of the happiest people on earth will be Eric Dickerson when we turn this ship around.

He still will not be happier than me though.

Yes. Big thanks to ED for his work and support!

Finally actually finished reading the story (had to make a mad dash to the basketball game earlier)... I liked it. Good to know the Observer doesn't completely hate us.

Wonder if that guy still checks out ponyfans every once in a while?

What does that even mean? It's really hard unless you're really good, and Orsini makes it look easy? What!?

He makes it look even easier than those who are really good do. In other words...he's better than really good

I'd love baseball, but if that means recruiting 200 lb. women to play softball and bowling for Title IX, I might change that view. We do have an image to uphold.

Wrong. This isn't the old SMU of David Stanley and Jimmy Tubbs and Phil Bennett and Peruna Patheticness. This is the new SMU belonging to Orsini, consumed with producing a Miracle on Mockingbird.
We had one already - Romo to Bowen.
Need a new name for the upcoming turnaround.

Feel free to take points off for her dastardly UT connection, but I remember the DMN covering her when she was in high school.
