This could end up being a great move for Vincent. A lot of big TE's turned OT's have ended up great. They usually have the frame to put on more weight (muscle not fat), and have great footwork.
A few examples off the top of my head: Robert Gallery of Iowa, Tony Hills, Jr. of Texas, and Jason Peters of Arkansas (300 lbs TE who became an OT in the NFL)

No, he didn't. I was about to ask him, but he was off to meet one of the coaches. Next time I see him, I'll ask.
Suffice it to say, he looks like he still weighs a hell of a lot more than I do, and that's not because I've been loading up on bran and salad. I'd guess somewhere in the 260-270 range, but that's a guess. Maybe get up to 280 or more by two-a-days?
Opinion!!!
I agree with 35straight. Playing tackle will be the quickest and best way for Vincent to play.
I also agree he will do well at that position.
Even when he was a redshirting, he was an often-brutal blocker - I've always thought the offensive line was his future.
Go crack some helmets, Vincent!
