They must have felt your pain as they just downgraded the magnitude to 5.4.

I read that and did not want to continue to make light of your situation but did think it humerous to see that when they found you were associated with SMU they downgraded you to a 5.4. Hang on tight.

Maybe they realized that the SMU analogy applied to JJ as well who hopefully will "shake things up" as well.

BTW they have shut down the MetroLink Trains as well to inspect tracks for damage.

Also reporting damage to a Fire Station in Seal Beach which is 2 miles from my home.

I have to admit I'm still a bit spooked.

You've got a lot to deal with in that state. We're thinking of you and hoping you and yours are OK. When is your kiddo heading our way? You would find this interesting, I grew up in Las Vegas and when I was getting ready to go to school, a family friend was pushing USC on me.

I told them that I wanted to come to Texas. Turned out, the guy sent all 3 of his boys to USC in the mid-to-late 80s. My only regret is missing out on the sweaters.

I was on the 16th Floor of an office building in Irvine talking with my Chairman and 2 attorneys. Knowing their fee per hour, I continued on as if nothing was happening.

Only at the end of the call did I tell them of the earthquake.

Glad the Southern California contingent are all safe! I spoke to my brother in Toluca Lake about 10 minutes after and he reassured me he was safe, and that it was "nothing" compared to the Northridge quake.

Yes, definitely glad to hear you're all doing alright. I experienced the Northridge quake very close to the epicenter (in Sherman Oaks) while I was in high school.

Not fun at all.

"July 29
"Earthquake"

Tuesday afternoon I was in the gym at Loyola Marymount in California and all of a sudden the ground starts rolling and the baskets started to shake back and forth. It lasted about 30 seconds. I felt like I was on a ship in the middle of the ocean!

Talk about weird!

It was supposedly a "5.4" on the scale and the epicenter was about 35 miles north of the area!

Can't wait to get back to the Lone Star State!

Pony Up!

Coach Doh"

I want to go with him 8)
