I didn't realize you could graduate from the band. Degree in beanie-wearing?
and a minor in chain smoking.
I quit that! Been 18 months tobacco free. I am very proud.
Just send 'da money.

I was the fat kid in my pledge class. Our house was also "the worst house on campus," as Caswell might have said it, ala Dean Vernon Wormer in Animal House. So the fat kid of the pledge class of "the worst house on campus" = Kent Dorfman (Flounder).
Larry Brown? We have Larry Brown? Cool!

I killed a man, and in addition to the XP, I got the moniker and the nifty donkey
The donkey's name is Kiki.
On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?
Good, Bad...I'm the one with the gun.

FW
Mustang
Girl
Really not too hard to figure out. Used to be Mustang Girl (and maybe even pony girl on the old site, but I can't remember absolutely... it was pre-marriage and pre-kids)

At one point, I changed my handle to "sniper" because, let's be frank, ponyboy ain't the most manly of names. But then about a week later, the sniper attacks in Virginia happened and I switched it back.
Stay gold, pony boy
I liked the fact that the band that played on the 'Vard before the TCU game was called Rumble Fish. And they were an 80s cover band. They sucked, btw.
Man, that's seriously ironic. Ghost of S.E. Hinton, I guess.

I was picking a screen name for ICQ during my freshman year and came up with this. My friends admired my phonetic spelling of SMU and threw a parade in my honor.

It's great to get some of the back story on a few of these. Great read!
I'm a history dork, so working the WWII angle into my Pony screen name seemed like a no-brainer. So, since the Mustang was nicknamed "Cadillac of the Sky" it just sort of went from there.
Back in the mid-90s I played an on-line flight sim called "airwarrior." One of my friends was an avid P-51 nut, and spent a good deal of time writing the book so to speak, on how to fly the Pony in game. He was the one who turned me on to the moniker.

I always loved your nickname and avatar.
I got a ride in a Mustang a few years ago and it was incredible.
Here is a picture taken of me and the Mustang at John Wayne Airport...
