they are trust bustin dude. the BCS is COMMUNIST!!! And should be illegal. The people who run it are money grubbing thugs, and are cheating a lot of people. Therefore congress should be involved when at least half of America wants the BCS gone.

Not that I support or even think the BSC is worthy of continuation but, anytime Congress gets involved, Congress will only make it worse. These idiots outlawed flushing toilets in the mid 90s. Imagine how much they will screw up college sports (Make Title IX look like the work of a genius). I would rather have a screwed up BSC cartel that functions as a monopoly than some ‘solution’ dreamed up by Congress.

Same thing happened when the flying wedge formation became successful. (Just because a few player got killed- The poli. no sense of humor).

To be exact, at the turn of the 19th century, the two leading causes of death in this country were infections and accidents. Thus, there is a deep concern to reduce deaths from both. Antibiotics are 40 years off but accidents could be addressed. Teddy Roosevelt threatens college administrators with Goobernment intervention if something wasn't done to reduce deaths in college football.

The answer was the implementation of an organization called the National Collegiate Athletic Association. Thus began the second most fraudulent institution (after the US goobernment of course) in the history of mankind. And things have been worse ever since.

Once again, if goobernment gets involved, it only makes things worse.
