Re: BREAKING NEWS: Michael Crabtreeits a rumor....this hasnt been confirmed...the local sports guys are drooling over jery angelo maybe offering the 49ers cash or picks to get crabtree , but lets face it its a bunk move if he does....waaaay too much to lose.

Re: BREAKING NEWS: Michael CrabtreeESPN now reporting that this info is coming from Crab's cousin and 'advisor'!
![]() His agent is remaining tight-lipped.
Re: BREAKING NEWS: Michael Crabtree
Actually, Eugene Parker already come out and said that he hasn't made any kind of threats such as the one the "cousin" is making. Crabtree needs to tell his cousin to shut his yap and let his agent handle it.

Re: BREAKING NEWS: Michael CrabtreeDeion: "Oh! The phone is ringing!"
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Re: BREAKING NEWS: Michael CrabtreeThat would be a bad move on his part, what team would want him if he does this?
Sounds like he needs a new agent or needs to tell his cousin to back off. Great player, but doesnt deserve to be the highest paid rookie by any stretch
Re: BREAKING NEWS: Michael Crabtree
Haha...Funny thing is that Eugene Parker, Crabtree's Agent, was Deion's agent.
Re: BREAKING NEWS: Michael Crabtree
im just curious but is there a process for "preparing" to sit out? i thought you just do it cuz its easier than doing anything at all. i would like someone to remind me where Michael Crabtree is from, then consider where you think his cousin is from, and then think about why in the world he would know what he is talking about or what the consequences of his "advice" would be. Re: BREAKING NEWS: Michael CrabtreeIf he wanted to make #1 pick money he should have stayed at Tech another year or 2
Re: BREAKING NEWS: Michael Crabtree
that says it all, so true, he came out after only 2 years plus with an injury, when he was hurt and it was healing slowly, he should have just went back for his junior year, otherwise, he needs to realize he wasn't going to be paid like a number 1 pick. Womack + Wishbone = Heisman
Class of 89
Re: BREAKING NEWS: Michael Crabtree
he should get 1st round money...never #1 pick money....and yes i know in the context of the team he is the #1 pick money but i really hate hearing that. "There ain't nothing you can't solve with one more beer"
Re: BREAKING NEWS: Michael CrabtreeOld trick in the playbook of negotiating thru the media. When you make this very public, you've just created more trouble for yourself.

there is a playbook for screwing yourself over in the media "There ain't nothing you can't solve with one more beer"
