Re: SMU home games on tv!!!• Saturday’s game will be televised live in Waco, Austin, San Antonio and Corpus Christi, and will
be tape delayed in Dallas on Time Warner Cable’s Metro Sports Channel. The game is first of nine televised games for the Mustangs in 2009. • SMU will honor the 1989 football squad at halftime of the season opener. The ‘89 squad reestablished SMU football following a two-year hiatus, and the team’s fi rst victory, a last-second 31-30 win over UConn, was quickly dubbed the “Miracle on Mockingbirdâ€.
Re: SMU home games on tv!!!I, for one, will stand and cheer that courageous group of guys from the 1989 team. They made up the toughest team I have ever seen, and I'll forever be grateful for what they went through.
Glad the home games are on TV, but I wish to hell the roadies would be on the tube more than the home games. People should sit on their couch when they can't make a road game, and I not too many folks stay home from Ford Stadium.
Re: SMU home games on tv!!!Who would have thought that the 1989 team would have won more games than the 2007 or 2008 teams did? Hopefully this 20 year reunion will truly usher in a new era of Mustang football!!
Peruna is my mascot!
Re: SMU home games on tv!!!Alex, Where can I find what stations will be carrying the games around the state? I will be at Ford, but friends and relatives have been asking me and I can't find anything on the official site.
Re: SMU home games on tv!!!
The games will be aired on Metro Sports, which is available to Time Warner Cable subscribers in Dallas, Waco, Austin, San Antonio and Corpus Christi. This is similar to how the men's basketball games were aired last season.
Re: SMU home games on tv!!!can you watch on directv in california?
Re: SMU home games on tv!!!Does anyone know if the games can be seen on line?
PONY UP!! JACK THE LUMBERJACKS!!!!!!!! GO MUSTANGS!
Re: SMU home games on tv!!!Check GamePlan on Directv at noon on Friday. They selectively pickup local game broadcasts from cable cos. Comcast, Time Warner, etc. and sell them PPV. So...Maybe...

Re: SMU home games on tv!!!
So for those of us living in, say, Virginia, there will be a chance that we can watch the game at a sports bar? Feel dumb asking this but I find this all pretty confusing. "Boy, I really miss Craig James' commentary on Thursday night football"
