Re: KC Chiefs helmetsby the way, Lamar Hunt I am guessing would roll over in his grave if SMU diminished Peruna or changed mascots.
Re: KC Chiefs helmets
He probably won't until next Saturday when Peruna is put out to pasture. Instead of Ford Stadium....we should call it the Glue Factory. Peruna is my mascot!
Re: KC Chiefs helmetsIt's the anniversary season of the old AFL. A lot of teams doing it this year - it's apart of history. Great for most of us who remember that era of pro ball. Legacy Series.

Re: KC Chiefs helmetsThe Dallas Texans/KC Chiefs are one of the few pro football teams to keep essentially the same uniform pattern since their inception back in 1960. The only two big changes were the addition of red pants in the mid-1960s and, of course, switching the helmet logo in 1963 from the Texas to the KC arrowhead.
And yeah those helmets look great!
Re: KC Chiefs helmetsMust be that Texas Logo as the pokes have no defense against TEXANS!
