by the way, Lamar Hunt I am guessing would roll over in his grave if SMU diminished Peruna or changed mascots.

He probably won't until next Saturday when Peruna is put out to pasture. Instead of Ford Stadium....we should call it the Glue Factory.
Peruna is my mascot!

It's the anniversary season of the old AFL. A lot of teams doing it this year - it's apart of history. Great for most of us who remember that era of pro ball. Legacy Series.

BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!

For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.

They fail to show the old "Los Angeles Chargers"...

Hard to recall but played the first year in LA in the Memorial Coliseum.

The Dallas Texans/KC Chiefs are one of the few pro football teams to keep essentially the same uniform pattern since their inception back in 1960. The only two big changes were the addition of red pants in the mid-1960s and, of course, switching the helmet logo in 1963 from the Texas to the KC arrowhead.

And yeah those helmets look great!
