Dropped by Milo’s for the first time Monday night.Wow what a dump lol. Nice TV’s cheap beer!
You need a damn air traffic controller to get out of their parking lot. Thanks SMU89 for not telling me to park across the street.
Re: Dropped by Milo’s for the first time Monday night.Funny thing is, it used to be worse
I went there after the Tulane game, and was actually impressed at how far it had come. At least my eyes weren't watering from the dense cancer stick smoke... Alan Shore: Yes, I know, I'll get letters...

Re: Dropped by Milo’s for the first time Monday night.Milo's feels like a Fox Sports Grill compared to where it was a few years ago:
-Fog of war, with about a 3.5 ft visibility -Guaranteed Lung biscuits -Red, watery eyes -Throw away the clothes you wore -All tube TVs How any of the long-standing staff haven't croaked should be studied by cancer researchers. I will always love Milo's
Re: Dropped by Milo’s for the first time Monday night.
What about a roid popper on the seats! ![]() My car is a boat, and some Giant SUV was next to me, there was no way you could get out with out major help and a lot of turning the wheel. I'll go back for the picture beer but will park across the st. SMU89 said that after a rain storm in the 80's part of the roof caved in on him and his friends up by the bar kitchen area. The tile is still bent from it ![]()
Re: Dropped by Milo’s for the first time Monday night.Seats leave much to be desired, but that's what the pitcher beer is for!!
Their lot is a disaster - park in the one row lot across the dart tracks (runs parallel to the track on the north side of SMU blvd) always a spot. I have always heard about that story when the roof caved in while they were open! that's hilarious! by far the most character in a place, especially with elephant and home bar no more
Re: Dropped by Milo’s for the first time Monday night.Holy god, I've sat on more comfortable bear traps...

Re: Dropped by Milo’s for the first time Monday night.I went by there after the SFA game, and was forced by my wife to order her a white wine (which is all she will drink) and almost got laughed out of the place
All in all, it's held up pretty well. And I like that Allan Adami jersey in the case!
Re: Dropped by Milo’s for the first time Monday night.i like the sticky 'carpet' (or what once was). yeah, pitchers are cheap and they have fooseball. that's about the only reason I go there, which has only been once in the past 3 years.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally
Re: Dropped by Milo’s for the first time Monday night.Cheap beer and darts with a relaxed atmosphere and tv's everywhere in the back...its all i want in a bar

They have pics of shooting near the bathrooms! I was kinda stunned Alan Shore: Yes, I know, I'll get letters...

Re: Dropped by Milo’s for the first time Monday night.Man, time flies. I was trying to remember the last time I was there. I think it was 1993?? wtf?
Re: Dropped by Milo’s for the first time Monday night.Isn't that the place that used to be the Stables in the olden days of yore. I used to work there. Got shut down every other month for serving minors. We tried to explain that no matter what their age, working in a mine all day deserved a beer.
