It's really good, especially if you like thin crust, fresh veggies and herbs.

Great brick oven pizza although a little pricey. Pick up pizza there regularly on the way home from SMU day basketball.

Louie's does make a really good pizza, but Campisi's is stil my favorite. Of course what you put on your pizza is going to make a difference too, but I love the base red sauce Campisi's uses.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Being from Chicago, Dallas pizza/italian food generally sucks, I concede Tex Mex and BBQ...

However, Campisi's is my fav. dallas pizza

Interesting. Camisi's isn't that great - sauce is weird to me. I guess it's just the tradition and location - they are probably at the bottom of my list. I'd rather get their combo than pizza.

Campania's ?

Perhaps it is just an acquired taste. Many years ago, the first couple of times I tried the sauce I didn't like it...now many years later I can't get enough of it. A bowl of sauce and some garlic bread to dip in it and I am in heaven. Variety is the spice of life...to each his own taste. :)

To each his own - to me -- Louie's sauce and cracker crust is a lot better than Campisi's. Although Diner's and Drive In's screwed things up a bit.

Hey...I like Louie's pizza too...a lot. Next time you get a pizza at Campisi's, ask for extra crispy. That may make it closer to what you like. 8)

Right on. Don't want to fill up on bread, no matter how good it is.

Campisi's crab claws and a little pizza on the side. That'll do it.
