When the SMU football team convened Tuesday for its optional conditioning workout, the players split into groups of about six to run sprints. Senior-to-be kicker/punter Matt Szymanski often finished at the front of his group — a fact he wanted publicized on PonyFans.com! So yes, Matt Szymanski is fast — maybe it's because, like a lot of kickers, he used to play soccer. (Of course, if he really has to show off his wheels, doesn't that mean he's chasing a returner who has gotten through most of his teammates?) He's definitely a hell of a lot faster than I ever was, and I kicked in high school. Does that count for anything?

Everyone is faster than you.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

That was in the previous playbook... right next to the swinging gate.

Exactly what I was thinking! Personally, I don't ever want to have to see how fast our kicker is.

No, that doesn't count for anything.

It's been quite awhile since I have had an opportunity to drive one of those , but that would probably do the trick, especially going downhill.
