If it is communication to the AD about the admission rules, fix it.
If it is putting in place the promised process, fix it.

Whatever it is, do not sweep this under the rug.

exactly! no statement, no explanation and not returning emails or phone calls, this must be dealt with!

Why would he need to say anything at this point? He's already talked to Jackson about it personally (or so we're told). Jackson himself is quoted as saying he doesn't want this to be a huge publicity thing. I don't think it's a stretch to think that he probably talked to Hall as well at some point (maybe it is). And he's surely not going to talk about the closed door meetings that have surely occurred with Orsini and JJ.

No statement yet, there's not going to be one.

Look what happened the last time he discussed Admissions at a Press Conference

This situation was not ever worthy of a Press Conference and maybe just maybe there may be a private statement, but I doubt it now. I really don't think Turner knew the magnitude of the outrage by Mustang Fans who wrote in and called in and probably had never felt the anger from his beloved football coaches.
It sounds like JJ said it right ( on another thread in Shreveport) is that Turner and SMU has to learn how to win, and not just on the football field. This was an embarrasment for all and am certain Turner would rather get this all behind him by looking in his rear view mirror. Dr. Turner should personally call and thank our Cali 4 Star commit for taking the heat of him this week.

I think we need to privately stay on this. Flood him with emails/calls/letters, whatever it takes. But, as many have noted, turning this into a public affair will only further damage recruiting especially in the Dallas Metroplex

Hopefully you mean a press conference is "not appropriate" instead of saying this isn't "worthy" of a press conference.

Totally agree...keep up the pressure. Bring it up in person. This university belongs to us moreso than faculty and administration who don't have degrees from SMU.

That's probably more correct, but either way it would never have been a press conference for something like this....
