When the media goes into the format of asking and answering its own questions, then it's a sign that nobody knows what's going on and throwing stuff out there to see what sticks.
I have every confidence that SMU will be just fine regardless of how this all turns out.

recent history of success in both football and bball and better fan support...to name a few reasons.
SMU fans are excited, but we have to remember that last year was only our 2nd winning season since the death penalty and 1st bowl game...so we still have a long ways to go to prove we belong. Oh...and did I mention our hoops program and attendance figures in both sports?
we REALLY need to see continued improvement in both football and bball and hope it will bring out some of our long alienated fans
