Re: Turner Gill is in over his head at KUhmmm.......I wonder if players who are used to being yelled at and spit on (with the yelling) have trouble getting motivated in other ways?
just a random thought.

![]() I sorta remember some shot of him with the spittle flying.
Re: Turner Gill is in over his head at KUKU lost their start QB and most of their starting wr's. I wouldn't judge him to much by his first year. Plus there still might be some division on the team. I think he will do fine.

Re: Turner Gill is in over his head at KUCoach Gill (who started his coaching career at SMU) will be fine when he fully implements his system and has players he recruits to fit his system. In a year or two, he'll be spanking Baylor High, just like everyone else in the Not-Very-Big 12.

Re: Turner Gill is in over his head at KU
Ususally you get 3 years, but this performance on top of the loss to North Dakota State, I think he has to make a bowl game next year or they will fire him. There is ZERO talent left on that team, but with a new Athletic Director, an unstable conference situation, and fans who think they should be making regular BCS appearances now, he needs results immediately. He needs to get down to Texas and promise every recruit he can find that they will start right away. How that team ever beat Georgia Tech is beyond me.
Re: Turner Gill is in over his head at KUThis could be a great place for the Pirate to land.....
Re: Turner Gill is in over his head at KU
the way the season is going, I'm guessing he'll have a few places to choose from.
