Texas Tech Recruiting Video"With a quarter of a tank of gas, we can get everything we need right here in DFW." -SMU Head Coach Chad Morris
When momentum starts rolling downhill in recruiting-WATCH OUT.
Re: Texas Tech Recruiting VideoHad one of those blow into Dallas when I was at SMU. Had my windows down in my car and it was an inch thick in dust. I can only imagine what it would be like in Lubbock.

Re: Texas Tech Recruiting Video
When I was a young kid in Amarillo, I woke up to one of these storms. Total red out for the entire day. School and everything else shut down. Storms like this do not happen very often but when they do its unbelieveable.
Re: Texas Tech Recruiting VideoThe kids in the video say that its awesome.....no thanks.
Re: Texas Tech Recruiting VideoLike mrydel, I remember fall of '70, coming out of an afternoon swimming team workout at Perkins about 5:30p.m. Saw a haze around the street lamps as I walk to the Umphree Lee cafeteria, where I ate frosh. year. At that time we didn't wear goggles when we worked out and I just thought the chlorine had gotten my eyes that day, until I could taste the dust in my mouth. When I saw the news about Lubbock, I thought it was just the typical fart coming out of TT.
Re: Texas Tech Recruiting Video
Probably the same one I am talking about. I figured it was '69 or '70. All those who believe in psycho kinesis, raise my hand
Re: Texas Tech Recruiting VideoI was in Lubbock for a weekend during the Spring of '94. It is the only place I have ever been where you can be standing outside in the middle of a field and not see the sky. It was no where near as bad as the video, but it still made me question why people would ever live there.
Some rise by sin, and some by virtue fall
Re: Texas Tech Recruiting VideoHilarious, I friend who went to that S-hole and visited him during one of these storms. I cant imagine anyone ever wanting to go to a place were trees and topography are obsolete. Plus nothing to do there but drink and do drugs and play Russian roulette with the women and and their STDs.
Look at the CDC report done out there.
