Wasn't Louisville involved in our rejection to membership in CUSA when TCU was accepted?

I remember back in the '80s when we played Louisville in a OOC that was deemed a cupcake game much like we discuss today.

Rod? returned an interception 90+ yards for a TD.

Best thing for SMU is to be competitive in BE by beating the Cincy's and Louisville's of the world that just a couple of years ago were deemed so far superior to us.

Then when the next round of musical chairs occurs, we will leap-frog these type of schools.
