- They have a suck [deleted] QB that plays like he's Frankenstein in a full-body cast;
- An OL that can't stop a skinny Girl Scout selling cookies to the QB;
- An emotionless coaching staff;
- An embarrassing "group" of largely Grey Poupon fans on game day;
- And after the Tulsa loss, they pretty much are going to the same bowl regardless of any future outcome.

Does that get you excited?

The fact of the matter, this team is defined by the 2008 and 2009 classes, and both were slightly below mediocre at best. The fact that June Jones has been able to throw a little make up on them and have them play above each player's God given talent should draw kudos, not complaints. To have expected JJ to get a high 3 or 4* QB in 2008 or 2009 is ridiculous. JJ will finally have the QB pieces he needs in 2013. If you want to criticize him for something, criticize him for not getting a better QB in here. Though if I had to guess, I bet June would say he thought he had his three year starter with Kyle. He was wrong and I tip my hat to him for trying to fix his mistake. Some coaches would have just gone down with the ship.

Yes.

TCU seems to have done pretty well with an underclassman QB this year.............

UH receivers and RBs would have had a Track Meet just like Southern Miss. We need more home run hitters at RB and Receiver who can take a 3 yard pass and put it in the endzone.

I think this is a really good point. DJ is the only receiver we have who is athletic enough to make something happen.

Navy played smart defensively, they sat back, played bend don't break, forced us to take the underneath. Once the field compressed inside the 20, they were able to compress their team, stop the run, and dare us to throw. We failed to break them down 1v1.

Also want to point out that Jones obviously doesn't quite touch JJ MCd's arm strength in the redzone, when you have to fit balls into tight places. Padron was always throwing short touchdowns, especially on that double post play (people who go to the luncheon know what I am talking about). We never, ever call that play with JJ McD in the game. Instead, we either run line, but Padron in for the option, put TT/Margus in for jump balls, or put Beasley in for the option.
