I don't pronounce the h in herb, I don't call an elevator a lift and I don't put petrol in my car.
Now, run off to google to find a stinging retort.
I am an M.D., and have a Master's in Public Health from Johns Hopkins. I stand by my spelling, and don't need google to do so. Possessives are generally used when a disease is named for the physician who described it. Do you say "He has Alzheimer Disease?" It is Alzheimer's Disease. It is a Ewing's Sarcoma, not a Ewing Sarcoma. Asperger's Syndrome. Sjogren's Syndrome. I can go on if you need more.

Bully for you. The proper spelling in this country is still Down syndrome. Hope you're a better doctor than writer.
"Well in America, we spell it without the 's'!" How does that make sense if it is named after a disease a physician who discovered it? Of course it needs to be possessive. And are you really arguing with a doctor on the proper spelling of a disease? *Shakes head in sadness*

Now, who's smarter in this picture? You look like the chauffeur. People are having some fun on SMU's fan site. Don't you have a website of your own? Seriously, off you go.
When did this go from a make fun of Houston thread to a spelling course?
I give a lot of credit to Junior. When he derails a thread, he does it with some interesting or at least mildly entertaining conversation.
"This is . . . dedication to distraction by fans. Is that what I'm going to go with Jay?" "That poor kid has to be wondering what is dad doing." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XknLDwj0dSo
