Do all of them believe, like you do, that NTSU does not have the merits to get into a better conference on its own without the help of SMU's president? If so, take comfort, you are not alone in your disloyal thoughts.

Let's all give ourselves on www.ponyfans.com a Thanksgiving gift and let this thread DIE! MGM is bound and determined to have the 'last word'. So, let him have it and let this thread go the way of the do-do bird. *PLEASE!*

Apparently, NTSU has not been able to bestow upon Green Scum a degree that will enable him to get a JOB...hey, why don't you try the TCU board or maybe the Baylor board...you could explain to Baylor why NTSU should take its place in the Big 12...yeah, yeah...that's the ticket! Or better yet, why don't you spend the time you would normally spend on this board seeing a psychiatrist...

I hate to be so negative (and I truly feel sorry for you Green Scum), but, no one here cares about Denton or the 3rd-rate commuter college that you call a university. And, yes, I've been to Denton plenty of times (and recently) and IT IS A CRAPHOLE!! (I used to practice law in Dallas and was, unfortunately, from time to time forced to go up there for a case...)

I wonder if Tulane has any "professional landscape technicians" from the Univ. of Louisiana--Lafayette displaying inferiority complexes on its board... :?: :?:

..............................................................................

"Used" to practice law I can understand, but to call Denton a craphole I cannot. You must have been to a part of Denton that even Dallas has been known to have a few of its own, ie, the areas that the less than fortunate live? Of course, that would only be an area that some SMU'ers would make fun of its inhabitants. You people ever wonder why your school has to pay for most of its friends? How sad......:(

Denton: A Craphole? Ask several of the Hunts (of H.L. fame), the Murchisons (of Clint, John & Lupe fame), the Bass's of FW and even the great Van Cliburn if they found Denton to be as you described it when they were all on the UNT campus for the grand opening of the Murchison Performing Arts Center. They might tell you things about Denton that would obviously burst yet another SMU'ers "way out left of center" perception about the city and one of its 2 universities.

You, sir, with such sophmore'ish statements about UNT and Denton and as one who professes to be a lawyer seem to suffer from the adjective that the color green best describes.:)

NEW ORLEANS BOWL COMIN' SOON! DON'T FORGET!

BTW, yall sitting home for yet another bowl season? Did you see the NO's Bowl when the Mean Green defeated the CUSA football champion? Yes, I said, uh, CUSA football champion? Also the 4'th conference SMU will have been in post-SWC split and one that will prove to be no more a cure-all for your football program than the previous 3 have been.

4 SMU conferences since 1994?

(1) SWC
(2) WAC-16
(3) WAC
(4) CUSA

I was under the impression that the CUSA champion went to the Liberty bowl, not the NO bowl. NO was supposed to be about 4th on CUSAs list.
The donkey's name is Kiki.

On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?

Oh good lord. This thread is still up? Even on our board (which is more active on any given weekday than about a week's worth on here) I don't think I've seen a thread go 9 pages. MGM would give politicians a run for their money with all the filibustering he can do. Don't get me wrong, I support UNT like nobody's business, but there comes a point when you're arguing just to argue, and it looks like that's where we're headed here. Can we just drop it and be civil? No point in petty arguments.
