And, yes, I've been to Denton plenty of times (and recently) and IT IS A CRAPHOLE!! (I used to practice law in Dallas and was, unfortunately, from time to time forced to go up there for a case...)
..............................................................................
"Used" to practice law I can understand, but to call Denton a craphole I cannot. You must have been to a part of Denton that even Dallas has been known to have a few of its own, ie, the areas that the less than fortunate live? Of course, that would only be an area that some SMU'ers would make fun of its inhabitants. You people ever wonder why your school has to pay for most of its friends? How sad......
Denton: A Craphole? Ask several of the Hunts (of H.L. fame), the Murchisons (of Clint, John & Lupe fame), the Bass's of FW and even the great Van Cliburn if they found Denton to be as you described it when they were all on the UNT campus for the grand opening of the Murchison Performing Arts Center. They might tell you things about Denton that would obviously burst yet another SMU'ers "way out left of center" perception about the city and one of its 2 universities.
You, sir, with such sophmore'ish statements about UNT and Denton and as one who professes to be a lawyer seem to suffer from the adjective that the color green best describes.
NEW ORLEANS BOWL COMIN' SOON! DON'T FORGET!
BTW, yall sitting home for yet another bowl season? Did you see the NO's Bowl when the Mean Green defeated the CUSA football champion? Yes, I said, uh, CUSA football champion? Also the 4'th conference SMU will have been in post-SWC split and one that will prove to be no more a cure-all for your football program than the previous 3 have been.
4 SMU conferences since 1994?
(1) SWC
(2) WAC-16
(3) WAC
(4) CUSA
