I would say that the one positive that we have going in this scenario is that jj can't really afford to mail it in next year bc that's only going to hurt him in the future for other jobs. No one is going to hire a coach who proves he's a baby and doesn't put forth his best effort. What he's got going for him is his track record and a bad season or two for whatever reason doesn't help his cause. Hopefully if he's back he comes in and makes something out of next season and either continues to build or he makes a clean break after the contract is up. Then we both move forward.

If we take a step back next year as JJ has suggested we will then we will have a very valid reason for letting him go. We will also not appear that we are taking revenge on him.
