Since BYU could not reach an agreement, the next schools will probably be AFA, Navy, and further down the line Army (which where all three considered originally with Army joining later). Can't see AFA and Navy to continue to turn down BE money when the new TV contract is signed. If BYU feels itself falling out of the spotlight as conferences expand, perhaps they will finally join under reasonable terms. No other conference seems to want to add BYU. No reason to ever add USM, Tulsa, or similar MWC teams in small markets. Service academies have national appeal.

Navy did not turn down BE. Their AD issued another statement last week saying they are fully committed to joining when their other commitments expire.
