just to add to "postal gate", how do we know that they were seperte letters? with seperate messages or just seperate envelopes with the same form letter?

"Different Letters" could mean either. You would think that every recruit of Alabama would have gotten the same number, and this seems to be the only story on the subject. I think I will stick to my belief that Alabama's printer simply got stuck on "repeat".

I hope kid doesn't open and read them, this could be the highlight of his recruiting season.
