Information is on the Rivals site. How many, who, and with interviews with some after the visit.

Lots of great junior day info on rivals ... Looks like having it in late March wasn't such the dismal idea that a lot of people declared it to be.

I don't subscribe to Rivals and don't plan to until they change their policy so that a person can cancel over the internet. Just too many issues making an international phone call.

I am really suprised that pf.com didn't have any coverage on it if it was so 'outstanding'.

Here's a summary w/o naming names:

estimated 100 recruits
From a focused list of about 28 of the top recruits:
4 recruits are Lone Star Recruiting Texas Top 100s
0 recruits are 4 Stars
7 recruits are 3 Stars-all of which had multiple offers
1 unrated recruit with only an offer from Texas Tech
2 unrated recruits with ONLY SMU Offers
19 unrated recruits with no other offers listed from anybody
72 (est.) No info availiable

also should define what a 3 star or above means at present time. Basically means a Texas Top 135 right now as that is the number of 3 stars and above presently rated. That number could possibly double as the recruiting services continue to water down any meaning to what a 3 star represents

Rivals gave an official number present almost 30% higher than your estimate.
When will I start feeling stimulated??

Rivals did a fair job of covering what there was to cover, but it seems like most thought it was kind of a fizzle. Not sure how much of has to do with the whole BBall search...

Who would that be?

Yeah I forgot what they estimated-and I really don't care because recruiting is about getting the best recruits not the usual warm bodies that attend open recruiting camps. The number of recruits attending is TOTALLY IRRELEVANT

No reason to get your panties in a wad. Just correcting bad information. If irrelevant, don't throw out bad numbers.

Junior day wasn't a huge failure or a huge success. The thought of having it this late was so it wouldn't conflict with other schools instead we plan it on the day that the ESPN Elite 11 regional is in town. Most of the top players in the area and state were there instead of at our junior day.

Honestly half these kids will change their mind over a year anyway. We should just have a crawfish boil to get our name out there.
