Article said that he had a relationship with TCU LB coach Randy Shannon. TCU has been getting a lot f highly regarded WR's over the last few years because they play that multiple formation offense.

Just a guess but getting to play in the Big XII and having one of the best QBs in the country throwing him the ball might have had something to do with it.
