i like the assertion that the addition of Rice would make Houston a Big 12 city and would "deliver" that city.

I like the "one man's trash is another man's treasure" quote about UTEP. So... you're admitting that UTEP is CUSA trash.

Isn't this what everyone else said about SMU2BIG12 and SMU2BCS?

Proof that the more degrees a person acquires, the less they are in touch with reality.
Just send 'da money.
Re: The case for UTEP and Rice in the Big 12
Just a reminder there are people on this board that think SMU is a good fit for the SEC.

Judging by their new members, they are looking for punching bags. We'd be great!zimo wrote:Just a reminder there are people on this board that think SMU is a good fit for the SEC.

I think people on this board think Dallas would be a good fit to add to the SEC, and we just happen to be here, not that SMU brings any inherant value. I agree with this

I'd rather be the punching bag of the SEC than mid level in a broken BE. Because there is always a chance to become mid level or better, but in a broken conference it may not even matter
Re: The case for UTEP and Rice in the Big 12
I agree that Dallas would be a good fit. It's just an unrealistic jump to make in the near future.couch 'em wrote:I think people on this board think Dallas would be a good fit to add to the SEC, and we just happen to be here, not that SMU brings any inherant value. I agree with this
