We would need several seasons of double-digit wins, plus a BCS appearance, to be a serious contender for SEC membership when it goes to 16. Even then it would be a longshot.

The potential of having a weekly SEC presence in Dallas is more valuable than the current SEC presence in Starkville. not unlike all the SMU fans that think the SEC might consider SMU because we would deliver the DFW arket
